Class will learn Basic Obedience behaviors that go deeper than you would get in a chain store class. We work on building stronger layers to the behaviors each week. Behaviors such as:
  • Touch
  • Sit
  • Release
  • Stay
  • Down
  • Stand
  • Jumping
  • Polite Greetings
  • Focus
  • Come (Recall)
  • Heel/Place
  • Leave-it
  • Loose Leash Walking
  • Weekly Informational Topic Discussions

Advanced Behaviors

This class is for working on building stronger Stays, Leave-its, Focus, Comes and Leash Manners all with the addition of distractions. Your dog needs to have gone through a Basic Obedience class. If you have taken a basic class from another trainer that uses physical corrections or force, you will be required to take a positive, force free class before attending this class. Your dog must not be dog aggressive or reactive to take this class, as sometimes they will be off leash. This class also must have all attendees present to make it most effective, so it is important to show up for each class.

Puppy Basics - 7 Weeks

This class is similar to the Basic Obedience class but it is for puppies under 4 months old. It is also laid out differently and slower building. We allow time after each session for some supervised play time* where we will be learning about body language, cut off signals, and teaching our puppies how to come to you out of play.
*It is not guaranteed that your pup will be able to play. If they are too pushy or shy, they may have to be in a time out, where we will work on alternative things to help them settle down.
Last Session in Basic Obedience and Puppy Basics - Graduation Day! Your pup will be assigned a 15-20 minute time slot to privately go through their exam. Final exam will entail some things have been learned in class, adding in distractions. This is a great way for owners to see where their dogs strong & weak points are.
